Fax Google
Fax Google allows you to send and receive faxes through your Gmail account.
You not only cut down on costs, but this service is particularly helpful if you are a traveling businessperson, and work very few days from the office.
You no longer need access to a fax machine, as you can receive all your faxes through your email conveniently.
You also save quite a bit of stationary, as you have the option of printing only those faxes that are important to you.
Secondly, you have an added amount of privacy for viewing the documents only through your email account, whereas in the office almost anybody is able to view the document that is received through the fax machine.
Fax Google was possible when Gmail updated its communication protocols. They included the T.38 protocol, which was able to transmit different formats of fax documents, through the email gateway.
This made it possible for people to send and receive fax documents on the go. All you need is a Gmail account, and the services of an online fax company.
For sending a fax, you can type in your message in the body of the email, or attach any type of document or file to the email.
In the box for email address, you will have to first enter the destination number of the fax, and follow it with the email address of your online fax company.
After that, you only need to click on the Send button, and your fax is sent.
Fax Google is the most convenient and cheapest way of sending fax. Gmail service is of course free, but the online fax companies, charge a fee.
However, there are a few free internet fax companies, but they have page limits, and limitations on the number of faxes you can receive or send in a day.
